Cell Phone Unlocking
Unlocking for cellphones is the process of removing the built-in restriction added by cellular service providers that prevents other providers' SIM cards from working in their phone. The common reasoning for locking the phones comes down to money. The provider will subsidize the cost of a phone, for instance getting a Motorola RAZR for 50$ with a two year activation, when to buy one outright would cost you over 200$. With the phone locked into the provider's network, and your John Hancock on a piece of paper that says you'll keep paying them for two years is more than enough for them to recoup their costs and then some, when it comes to the 150$ they ate when they bought the phone for you.
The next question is simple, however: What happens after two years? Let's say you've done your two years and decided you'd be more happy with another provider... that's where we come in.
We offer a variety of unlocking methods, from direct computer unlocks, forcing the firmware of the phone to rewrite itself, excluding the SIM lock, to simple code generation and entry for phones that generate unlock codes for themselves based on complex algorythms which we then decode and enter to permanently remove the phone's SIM lock.
